The MENTOR Network is pleased to announce the expansion of its Specialty Rehabilitation Services with the addition of Harbor Rehabilitation, a rehabilitation and post-acute care facility located in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and Country Life Care Center, located in Riverton, Utah.
NeuroRestorative Welcomes Harbor Rehabilitation
This month, NeuroRestorative welcomes Harbor Rehabilitation, expanding its programs in the state of Michigan. Founded in 1999, Harbor Rehabilitation provides home and community-based rehabilitation services for children, adolescents, and adults who have sustained brain and spinal cord injuries, and other neurological or orthopedic challenges.
As part of NeuroRestorative, Harbor Rehabilitation will offer its participants the same level of expertise and care that they have provided to individuals with brain injury for more than 18 years. Harbor Rehabilitation will continue to offer a full range of therapies including speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, social work and recreational therapy for people of all ages with neurological injury.
CareMeridian Welcomes Country Life Care Center
In June, CareMeridian welcomed Country Life Care Center, a 36-bed facility specializing in short- and long-term medical care for individuals who have experienced a catastrophic injury or illness, including traumatic brain and spinal cord injury. The facility provides highly skilled nursing and rehabilitation care in a homelike environment featuring private living spaces.
The addition of Country Life not only expands CareMeridian’s reach into the state of Utah but furthers the expansion of its services for pediatric patients. One of the three wings of the Country Life Care Center is dedicated to care for children with medically complex conditions. CareMeridian already serves pediatric patients in its CareMeridian 4kids program in Las Vegas, Nevada, and later this year plans to open a new 24-bed program in Reno, Nevada, with half the beds devoted to pediatric patients.
“The MENTOR Network is pleased to welcome Harbor Rehabilitation and Country Life Care Center, which have long histories of providing high-quality rehabilitative care to those they serve,” said Bruce Nardella, President and CEO of The MENTOR Network. “This expansion of our Specialty Rehabilitation Services enables us to serve more individuals with brain and spinal cord injury and other challenges, help them regain their independence and improve their quality of life.”
Together, NeuroRestorative and CareMeridian make up The Network’s Specialty Rehabilitation Services group, offering a broad range of medical care, therapy, training, community integration and behavior management that help individuals with brain and spinal cord injury and other serious neurological injuries and illnesses recover.
