The MENTOR Network is pleased to announce that it has welcomed Habilitative Services, Inc. (HSI), providers of services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Minnesota.
“We are excited that HSI and their talented, dedicated staff are now a part of The MENTOR Network,” said David Doth, Vice President of Operations for The Network’s Redwood Operating Group. “Their addition allows us to expand our growing array of services to help more individuals with disabilities live life to the fullest.”
Founded in 1985 and operating in 22 counties, HSI provides a continuum of residential and periodic services, including in-home hourly supports, shared living services and intermediate care facilities. Now operating in partnership with Network partner REM Minnesota, HSI supports more than 400 adults and has more than 1,100 employees.
“The MENTOR Network and REM Minnesota share our mission of helping individuals with a wide range of challenges increase their independence so that they may participate actively in their communities. We look forward to carrying out this shared mission of providing supports that improve quality of life for the people we serve,” said Devin Nelson, Executive Director of Habilitative Services, Inc.
The addition of HSI builds on The Network’s expansion of services for individuals with disabilities in Minnesota in recent years. REM Minnesota now serves 59 of the state’s 87 counties, with a continuum of services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, brain injury and mental health challenges.
