Hourly Support

At The MENTOR Network, we know that everyone needs support to achieve their goals. Having people in our lives we can turn to for assistance, encouragement and comfort can make all the difference.

Through our Hourly Support services, we offer a range of personalized supports for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and deliver them wherever they are needed—at home, at work and in the community. Our goal is to offer people of all abilities access to the supports they need to be successful. No matter where a person lives—with family or friends or in a home or apartment of their own—we help empower them to live as independently as possible each day.

Independent Living Supports

Independent living supports are available to help adults who live on their own remain independent and active in their community. Services are provided by trained staff and tailored to the needs and goals of each person. With independent living supports, individuals can continue to master daily living skills and regularly participate in community activities and vocational programs—all of which provide for a greater sense of independence and personal identity.

Family Supports

In-home family supports are available to individuals who live at home with their families yet wish to retain a sense of independence. These supports are in place to ease the responsibilities of family caregivers, which allows for more successful outcomes for the individuals being served. Services are provided by trained staff and tailored to the needs and goals of each person. With family supports, individuals can continue to learn daily living skills and regularly participate in community activities and vocational programs, while still receiving the love and support of their family members at home.

Relief Support

Relief support—sometimes known as respite—is available for individuals who live with their families. This support provides a healthy change in routine for both the adult receiving services and the family—either on an hourly or overnight basis. It is also in place for emergency support or when family members of the individual plan to be away for an extended period of time.

As part of this service, we also offer homemaker and personal-care services—including assistance with housekeeping, shopping, personal care, scheduling and transportation.
