Darlene Pike House Manager, NeuroRestorative Virginia

Each soldier who comes to Grove House—a program for Veterans and active duty soldiers with traumatic brain injuries operated by Network partner NeuroRestorative in collaboration with Virginia NeuroCare—has one experience in common: the boundless love, care and support they receive from House Manager Darlene Pike. “Many times, post-traumatic stress disorder has added to the challenges our soldiers are already dealing with due to their traumatic brain injuries,” says Darlene. “Many of our residents are wondering what they’re going to do next.”

Watch Darlene accept her 2010 Ripple of Hope Award and be honored alongside her fellow winners at the Children’s Museum in Boston, Massachusetts.
