Linda Gammage Program Director, Arizona MENTOR

After raising eight children, Linda Gammage started a career in 2002 with Arizona MENTOR as a Direct Support Professional in a home for young women with challenging behaviors. “This has opened my heart,” she says of her experience supporting individuals. “Everyone needs to know they belong and that they are loved, that they are part of life and have rights.” Now Program Director, Linda makes the inaccessible accessible for the teens and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities she supports throughout Arizona MENTOR’s Phoenix group homes.

Watch Linda accept her 2013 Ripple of Hope Award and be honored alongside her fellow winners in Philadelphia at the National Constitution Center.
