Become a DSP
Every person needs the support of others, but we look for a very special person to support individuals with disabilities. As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you are one of those special people.
What does it take to be a Direct Support Professional? It takes commitment and compassion and the openness to understand that your life – like that of the person you support – can be changed forever through a relationship with someone in need.
DSPs are central to the satisfaction and fulfillment of people who are challenged with developmental disabilities. DSPs are the link to the community for those they serve. For some, they may be the eyes of those unable to see, or the voice for those who can't speak. For others, they are friend, cheerleader and subtle support on the path to one’s true potential.
