Neil Brendmoen Vice President, Development, Redwood Operating Group
Working closely with Redwood Operating Group leaders and The MENTOR Network’s development team, Neil oversees growth and new business development within the Redwood Operating Group.
Neil began his human services career in 1979 as a direct care worker in a state institution for people with developmental disabilities. A strong inclusion advocate, he left the institution in 1980 and joined REM Minnesota as a program director, where he developed home-like settings and in-home services for individuals in the community. Throughout his career with REM and The Network, Neil has led the expansion of community-based services into numerous states. He has guided the organization as an executive director and later vice president of operations for the Redwood Operating Group’s eastern region, and more recently as president of the Hastings Operating Group, where he oversaw human service operations in 17 states. He holds a B.A. from Southwest State University.
